It's Card Swap Sunday and time for a card that I've made for a swap or for one I've received in a swap. Today I'm featuring a gorgeous card made by my friend and team member, Elaine Paget. Elaine used the Colorful Seasons Stamp set from the Color Theory suite.
This reminds me of a lovely summer evening at the lake. I love how Elaine used the Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to create the look of "waves" on the lake. The background is created with inks and a reverse mask technique. She cut out a square and layered it on top of her card. Then she sponged the colours and removed the mask. It looks like a little framed area.
The clouds are created with our new Embossing Paste and the Pattern Party Decorative Masks. You just spread the paste over the mask stencil and remove. It's a great way to add some dimension to your card. The little sling chair is a 2 step image so you can use on colour on the frame and the second on the seat.
