It's Card Swap Sunday, the day when I share a card that I've created for a swap or received in a swap. Today I'm featuring this gorgeous card I received in a swap from my friend Melva Peters. It's stunning and not difficult to make.
This gorgeous card is made using the Painted Harvest Stamp Set which is available after September 1st for order. Patsy and I love this stamp set and other products in the Painted Autumn Suite so much that it's our featured suite for our Free Card program in September! Just place any size online order and we'll send you a free PDF with instructions for 8 cards using the Suite of products.
I'm not sure what this card technique is called but it's not difficult to do and the effect is stunning! I hope you can see from this picture that the letters are popped up to give dimension to the look. So cool! The letters are cut out with the Large Letters Framelit Dies from the annual catalogue. There are priced at $130 BUT why not pick them when you are a host from your free rewards or get them on a half-price item as a host. They are so versatile and you'll use them over and over again on so many projects.
If you are an active customer of mine (you've spent $50 or more this year with me) you can join my special exclusive VIP Facebook group. I share the instructions for my Card Swap Sunday card each week on this group so you'll want to be a member so you can get instructions for this gorgeous card for free.
If you are a customer click here to join! I'll approve you if you qualify. Of course you can "join" anytime and the past instructions will be available for you in the archives. This week I included a video on how to create the direct to paper technique from last week's card.
Here's the products used for today's project:
