It's time for Card Swap Sunday – the day I share a card I've received in a swap or made for a swap. A "swap" is when you join a group of other demonstrators and make cards for everyone in the group. Then you receive a card from everyone in the group so you get a great selection of samples. It's like a Christmas Cookie swap but with cards.
I recently participated in a 2017 Holiday Catalogue swap with other demonstrators from across Canada. Today's gorgeous card was created by Zahra Premji using the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set and coordinating Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits Dies. When you purchase them together in a bundle you save 10% on the purchase price.
This beautiful card has so many elements that just go together perfectly to create this elegant card. I love the scrip of the "Season's Greetings" – it seems a bit nostalgic looking to me.
The little swirly shape is cut from the Silver Foil Paper using the die from Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits and the Big Shot. The little snowflake is also cut using one of the dies in the set.
I really love this card. Sometimes you just look at a card and just fall in love. It might be the non traditional colours which include my favourite new colour, Lemon Lime Twist.
