It's Card Swap Sunday and today's card was made by my friend Liane Binder. Liane used the Merry Cafe stamp set from the 2017 Holiday Catalogue with the coordinating Coffee Cups Framelits from the Annual Catalogue.
I love the Winter Wonder Textured Impressions Embossing Folder because it adds a subtle texture to the card without looking too "busy". Liane added some Wink of Stella to the snowflake to add some bling. It reminds me of sparkly snow.
Liane embossed the lid image in White on Glossy White cardstock and then cut out with the coordinating die. I love this because the lid look "real" with the embossing. So clever. The little teabag is from the Coffee Cups Framelits and adds just a little detail . I'm a tea drinker. How about you? Love the card. I like the extra crumb cake mat between the red and the white, it just finishes it for me. I drink coffee in the morning and tea if I want a hot drink the rest of the day. When you were in Thailand, did you try chai tea? I haven’t found any quite as good since I went to Vietnam/Cambodia 12 years ago.
Love the bit of Wink of Stella on the snowflake….will have to remember to do that. I’m pretty much a coffee drinker, but enjoy a cup of tea with dessert after a nice meal. 🙂
Very clean and neat card, yet with lots of texture. I think a great card to make for friends this Christmas. And of course, a reinforcer of the Chai tea latte I must have on a cool day!
