It's Card Swap Sunday, the day I share a card I've created for a swap or received in a swap. Today I'm sharing this adorable card I received using the Ready for Christmas stamp set and coordinating Christmas Staircase Thinlits Dies.
When I was growing up we had family dogs and they were all Dachshunds. This one looks like Mickey the one we had the longest – such a great breed! This little guy is trying to sneak something out of the stocking. All the pieces are stamped, coloured and then cut out with matching framelits. No fussy cutting!
Here are some other samples created by the fabulous concept artists at Stampin' Up!
This card uses the Christmas Staircase Thinlits on their own for the most part. Just cut out the pieces and assemble – it's not hard and it's so effective don't you agree?
This one is a little more work as you have to cut out the pine boughs for the tree. You could stamp the tree as a guide and then layer the pieces on top. This is a gorgeous packaging idea.
Here's another card from Stampin' Up! and that little dog is up to more mischief!
Here's the inside of my card today – do you think the sneaky dog will get the cookies off the plate that were left for Santa?
Here's the products I used in today's card!

Well that’s just super cute…Alison. Our dog was a very big a mixed breed, Golden Retriever. We couldn’t leave a loaf of bread on the counter! It was gone in no time. It was fun at family bar-b-q’s you had to watch your plate! Sweetest dog ever but always hungry it seemed…lol
Cute card! My daughter has a border collie/corgi/boxer cross…the cutest and smartest dog you ever did see…but when he was a puppy, oh my, the things he got into. Slippers were his favorite!
Before we had our Lab we had a Golden Retriever. Such a great dog but NO BREAD could be left anywhere within reach.
Yes Lucie – that is a smart combo in one dog. I think smarter than me!
LOL!!!
