Hello Stampers,
Wow – I've been having so much fun playing with my Stampin' Blends. I'm not going to lie…I was a bit intimidated at first and couldn't quite "get it right" but then I just started colouring and now I'm having so much fun! In today's project I've done something a bit differently. I started with some printed Designer Series Paper. It's literally like a colouring book and we all remember how fun those were as a kid.
Here is the first one I coloured. The Blends are so beautiful and easy to colour with – they are so smooth. It's so addicting.
The spaces between the flowers are coloured with the Light Pool Party Blends and I love how there are no "lines" like there would be with our water based markers.
I had a happy accident when making this project. I finished colouring and the started to assemble my card and when I flipped the colored piece over to apply my SNAIL I loved the reverse side too! So of course I had to make two of them.
Isn't this gorgeous? I love all the blotches of colour. This happens naturally because of the saturation of the Blends from the right side to the reverse.
Here's a video I did for my VIP customers that I thought you might enjoy – this was done LIVE on Facebook so it's pretty casual but hopefully you will get some tips.
So which version you do you like better? Leave me a comment and be entered in my monthly draw for my Just in Case weekly cards!

Both are nice, the detailed one speaks to me more than the “muted” one.
Isn’t it neat to stumble across a new creation accidentally!!! Personally, like Marie, I’m partial to the detailed one on the left in your picture.
