It's Border Buddy Saturday and it's Alison here today with a card from our Free Card program. This month Patsy and I are featuring products from the Birthday Memories Suite.
My card features the Birthday Delivery Bundle of products which includes the Birthday Delivery Stamp Set, Birthday Memories Designer Series paper and Birthday Friends Framelits Dies. When you purchase them all in the bundle you will save 10% of each item! (Item #145294).
I love how the Birthday Friends Framelits Dies work with both the stamped images and many of the printed images on the Birthday memories Designer Series paper. For this card I stamped the little girl in Basic Black Archival ink on Watercolor Paper because I wanted to watercolor the image with classic inks. Then I cut her out with the matching die from the Birthday Friends Framelits. It's much easier that using scissors!
The balloons are cut out with the Framelits but I used the balloons from the Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper. I just love how the framelits match many of the printed images (I know I said that earlier but it's worth repeating LOL) as well as the stamped ones. This example uses the fox.
If you'd like to earn the Free PDF with instructions for 8 cards made with the Birthday Memories Suite just place an order in our online store and we'll send them to you in an email. Spend $50 and we'll send you two handmade cards from our PDF offering.

What a great job watercoloring Alison! I don’t do much of that as I’m not confident in my coloring/shading skills.
The framelits are so amazing. Sure beats cutting with scissors.
Thank you Lucie. Watercolouring isn’t that hard. I coloured a light layer and then let it dry. Then I went in with more colour and added the highlights. Easy peasy.
Thank you Lorraine – it sure does – love when there are matching framelits for the stamps and in this case they also match the Designer Series Paper images – bonus!
