It's Just in Case Thursday. Every week Patsy Waggoner and I share a project we've created that was inspired by a sample in one of our current publications. Sometimes we copy it exactly and other times we sub out the stamp set, inks and/or embellishments. I really do find CASing to be the best way to inspire me in my own cards.
CASE = Copy and Share Everything
My card today features the Amazing You stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalogue and is yours for FREE with a $60 purchase before March 31st.
My card is based on this card from page 16 of the Sale-a-bration brochure. I changed my card by not colouring the flowers and changing out the colour of the ribbon.
I really loved the way the words were stamped in different colours and stacked to create the final sentiment. I also added some Subtles Enamel Shapes. I replaced the ribbon with the Berry Burst 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon to coordinate with the ink in the flowers. I love the silver metallic edge on this ribbon.
Did you know that I give away my Just in Case cards at the end of every month in a draw? Just comment on any of my posts during the month (enter as many times as you'd like) and I enter your name. This is one of my favourite color combinations. Beautiful card. Thanks for sharing.
Great to see that flower looks great without colouring as I don’t love colouring. Very elegant card
The metallic edge ribbon just adds a touch of bling. So pretty and elegant!!!
Me too Sandy – I love the Berry Burst In Color!
Thanks Rita – glad you like my version. I started colouring the first one but didn’t like it so went with just the outline of the flowers. I agree, I like it better.
This ribbon is absolutely yummy!
