Dandelion Wishes - Cascading Card Design

My card today uses the Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set and is based on a card layout design from Dawn Griffiths. I substituted Dandelion Wishes.

I love Bermuda Bay and it goes with both pastel colours like Pool Party and bright colours like Berry Burst. I love pairing it with Lemon Lime Twist. This card design is very easy to make but it looks so cool because it opens up to reveal little panels of colours and sentiments.

I embossed the dandelions in White so they would "pop" off the Bermuda Bay colour. The stamped square is layered on Pool Party and the patterned paper is from the Subtles 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper packs. These are an awesome way to get patterned paper in all our colour collections.

Here's how I made my card:

Measurements:

Bermuda Bay – 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"; 4 1/2" x 3 1/4"; 2 1/4" x 2 1/4"
Pool Party – 5 1/4" x 4"; 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
Whisper White – 11" x 4 1/4"
Subtles DSP (Pool Party) – 4" x 1 1/4"; 4" x 2 1/4"; 4" x 2 3/4"

Instructions:

Score the Whisper White cardstock at 1 1/2"; 3"; 5 1/2" and 8" along the 11" side. Fold in accordion shape (mountain, valley, mountain, etc)
Glue the DSP to to first, third and fifth panels alternating the patterns.
Stamp the fourth panel with sentiment in Pool Party ink.
Stamp the dandelion image in Versamark ink on the Bermuda Bay square, apply White Emboss Powder and heat set.
Cut out a scallop square from the Pool Party piece (2 1/2" x 2 1/4") with Layering Squares Framelits using the Big Shot and mount the embossed piece to this mat.
Apply glue to the left side of the back of the Pool Party piece and mount to the middle of the first panel. The right side of the square will not be glued to anything so that your card can open.
Glue the Whisper White panels to the Bermuda Bay mat (4 1/2" x 3 1/4").
Cut a piece of Whisper White Tulle Ribbon (15") and wrap it around the back of the Bermuda Bay approximately 1 1/2" from the bottom edge. Tie in a bow towards the right side of the completed piece.
Glue the entire decorated panel to the Pool Party mat (5 1/4" x 4") and glue all the pieces to the Bermuda Bay card base (5 1/2" x 4 1/4").
Add rhinestones to the dandelion on the front of the card.
