Just in Case - Sweet Storybook Stamp Set

It's Just in Case Thursday, the day where Patsy and I share a card we've CASED from one of our current publications. Sometimes we copy it exactly and sometimes we change the stamp set, embellishment and/or colours. Today I'm sharing a card created by one of my team members, Yvonne Jackson, who participated in a team swap this month. We each picked a card from the catalogue and CASED it.

CASE = Copy and Selectively Edit

You can find the original card on page 160 of the Annual Catalogue using the Sweet Storybook Stamp Set and matching Storybook Scene Thinlits Dies. When you purchase the stamps and dies together in a bundle you save 10%. Yvonne didn't change any of the colours or layout and she did a gorgeous job of putting this card together.

Here's the cute little mice from the stamp set. They are 2 step stamps which means the outline is stamped first and then the "fur" is stamped over the first image to create a two colour final image. The same technique is used on the toadstool with the outline being one stamp and the coloured top being a second stamp.

When you open the first layer you see the full picture of the little mice (aren't they cute?" and then opening that layer reveals the inside with the full toadstool.
