One Sheet Wonder – Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper

July 23, 2019 by Alison Solven

23 Jul

Every Tuesday Patsy and I share a card we have created with a  sheet of patterned paper from a Designer Series Paper pack using a One Sheet Wonder pattern. In July we are using the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper.

OSW Perennial Essences DSP Piece J

Today's card uses Piece J (3 1/4" x 5 1/2") from the One Sheet Wonder Pattern (scroll down) and the To a Wild Rose Bundle which includes the To a Wild Rose Stamp Set and Wild Rose Dies. (page 141) of the Annual Catalogue.

The Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper coordinates with Balmy Blue, Blackberry Bliss, Blueberry Bushel, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Petal Pink, So Saffron, Whisper White.

Here's a video showing you the gorgeous designs in the pack – they remind me of paintings by Monet.

Here's how to make today's card with piece J from the pattern.

Measurements:

Blackberry Bliss – 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"; 5 1/4" x 2"
Crushed Curry – 4 1/4" x 2 1/4
Whisper White – 2 1/2" x 1 3/4"
Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper – 3 1/4" x 5 1/2" Piece J

Instructions:

  1. Score the Blackberry Bliss cardstock at 4 1/4" and fold to form card front.
  2. Glue the DSP to the middle of the card front.
  3. Cut the 3 3/4" die from the Crushed Curry using the Stitched Nested Dies. Glue to the middle of the DSP.
  4. Cut out the filigree die from the Blackberry Bliss (5 1/4" x 2") and glue across the middle of the Stitched Nested die.
  5. Stamp the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink on Whisper White and cut out with small oval die from the Stitched Shapes dies.
  6. Pop up sentiment in the middle of the filigree die with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  7. Add a pearl to either end of the filigree die cut.
