Today I'm launching a brand new series on my blog called Tuesday Tips & Tricks. I'm excited to share some ideas and provide tips for your crafting experience every Tuesday so hope you'll visit me each week. Today I'm featuring a fun background technique.
Have you tried out the Pigment Sprinkles crystals featured on page 179 in the Annual Catalogue? When mixed with water they create vibrant watercolour backgrounds and washes. You can also use them to watercolour images.
I'm so lucky to have such wonderful stampers in my Canada Inks Up! team and two of these gorgeous cards were sent to me from Eva Dobilas in the past few weeks. Eva inspired me to try the sprinkles myself using her tips. Here's my card:
I used the Gorgeous Grape and Granny Apple Green pigments in my card. I embossed the flowers from the Beautiful Friendship Photopolymer Stamp set in White Emboss Powder on watercolour paper.
Eva's tips in her video helped me a lot and I created a PDF with instructions that I hope will help you too!
