Hello Stampers Patsy here!
Each Thursday my Border Buddy Alison Solven from Canada and I take turns creating a card that we CASED from a current Stampin’ Up! catalog. CASE stands for (Copy And Selectively Edit). We like to show you how you can use the paper crafting projects in the Stampin’ Up! Catalog to inspire you!
Today's card features the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set. This stamp set does have some coordinating dies but for this card I fussy cut them. I know we want punches or dies to cut out everything these days. I actually find cutting somewhat relaxing almost meditative.
When you CASE, you can copy it exactly, or selectively edit it by changing the colors or the stamp set or both. Today is almost and exact case except I did the darker color to the outside to reassemble a poinsettia. They also used a different die for the fillers I used the coordinating die from the Flourish Die Set.
I colored the White Baker's Twine with my Real Red Stampin' Blend. You can customize white ribbons and twine by simply coloring with the blends.
You can find complete directions and info about today's card by simply clicking the button below.
