Honey Bee Bundle Celebrate Every Moment

I've had so much fun creating cards using the Honey Bee Bundle from the January – June 2020 Mini Catalogue along with the coordinating Honey Bee Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Sale-a-bration free rewards.

Today's card also features a background image from the Very Versailles Stamp Set from the Annual Catalogue. I wanted to create a card with a vintage feel because the bee reminds me of a botanical drawing.

The papers feature black and white images with gold foil accents on some of the designs. The package contains 2 each of 6 double-sided designs in a 12" x 12" format. The paper coordinates with black, gold foil and white.

To make my card you can follow these instructions:

Measurements:

• Whisper White Thick – 11" x 4 1/4"; scrap
• Crushed Curry – 3" x 3"; 1 3/4" x 1 1/8"
• Honey Bee Specialty Designer Series Paper – 4" x 3 3/4"

  

Instructions:

1. Fold the Whisper White Thick cardstock at 5 1/2" to create card base.
2. Ink the words from Very Versailles Stamp Set in Crushed Curry and stamp on the lower right corner of the card front.
3. Glue the DSP strip approximately 1 1/4" from the bottom edge and line up with the right side.
4. Cut out one honeycomb from Crushed Curry (3" x 3') using the Detailed Bees Dies and glue on top of the DSP.
5. Ink the large bee in Tuxedo Black ink and stamp on Whisper White Thick scrap.
6. Colour the wings with Pool Party Dark Stampin' Blend and the body with Daffodil Delight Dark Stampin' Blend and cut out with coordinating die.
7. Wrap some Silver Metallic Thread around your fingers and tape to the back of the bee. P
8. Pop up the bee with Stampin' Dimensionals on the honeycomb.
9. Add Wink of Stella to the bee wings and rhinestones to the bee body.
10. Stamp the sentiment on the Crushed Curry strip in Tuxedo Memento Basic Black in and glue to the front of the card as shown.
11. Add some rhinestones to the card to finish.
