Sunday Sketches with Forever Greenery Suite from Stampin' Up!®

Each Sunday Patsy Waggoner (my border buddy) and I (Alison Solven) take turns creating a card using one of our card sketches. I love sketches because all the measurements and layout are illustrated and I just have to decide what stamps, colours and embellishments to add.

You can create a card exactly using the sketch layout as I did today or change it up a bit. You can also turn the sketch so if it is a vertical sketch you might want to turn it to be horizontal. Let your imagination run wild!

The Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper is so gorgeous and there are so many patterns to pick from for your cards. The coordinating colours are Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz, Just Jade, Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce and Soft Sea from with Whisper White as the neutral.

Simple Stamping Steps & Measurements

Fold a piece of Pear Pizzazz Cardstock in half to create card base. (topfold 4 1/4" x 11" or side fold 5 1/2" x 8 1/2").
Glue Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper (1 3/4" x 4 3/4") to the Pretty Peacock Mat. Glue to the left side of the card front.
Stamp the sentiment in Pretty Peacock in on the Whisper White cardstock (1 5/8" x 3 1/4"). Ink the leaf in Pear Pizzazz and stamp off on scrap and then onto the Whisper White. Add some splotches in Soft Sea Foam ink.
Glue the sentiment piece Pretty Peacock Mat.
Wrap Gold Trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack into a circle and tape to the back of the sentiment piece.
Cut out oval from Gold Foil Sheet and glue to the back of the sentiment layer at the bottom and allow 1/2 to show.
Cut out the ginkgo leaf from the Gold Foil Sheet with the die from Forever Flourishing Die and glue to the back of the sentiment piece so it shows on the top.
Pop up the decorated piece with Stampin' Dimensionals and add to the card as shown.
Add some Gold Glimmer Dots to the card.All Stampin’ Up!® products were used to create today's card.
