Just in CASE – Wishes and Wonder Card

September 24, 2020 by Patsy Waggoner

24 Sep

Hello Stampers,

Patsy her with this week's CASE card featuring the Wishes and Wonder Bundle!

Each Thursday my Border Buddy Alison Solven from Canada and I take turns creating a card that we CASED from a current Stampin’ Up! catalog. CASE stands for (Copy And Selectively Edit).   We like to show you how you can use the paper crafting projects in the Stampin’ Up! Catalog to inspire you!

Love the deer from the North Pole Wonder Dies which are part of the bundle.  This die set has 12 different dies; tag, circles deer and leaves making it very versatile.

Another purpose of our CASE series is to show you if you don't have the exact same stamp set or papers you can substitute it for a similar look.  Here I used the same background paper, which is from the Most Wonderful Time Product Suite.

The color pallet is the same using Stampin' Up! Real Red, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, and Whisper White.  I stamped my background on the Real Red using Real Red ink and the sprig stamp from the Wishes & Wonder stamp set.  They punched out the Crumb Cake cardstock using the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch.  I cut out mine using the Stitched Rectangle Die.

They stamped the deer using the Festive Post stamp set and I cut mine out in Soft Suede cardstock using the die from the North Pole Wonder Dies.

Since we don't have any White Baker's Twine (really it is a staple we should always carry!) I untwisted the baker's twine from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.

It seems early to be thinking about Christmas as the leaves are just turning, but it will be here so quickly!

Thanks for stopping by today stop back Saturday to see one of the cards featured in our September PDF Tutorial.
