What is Your Favorite Holiday? Border Buddy Saturday

We all know how time flies and while Christmas is several months away it will be here before you know it. Christmas is my favorite holiday, what is yours? Each month Alison Solven my Border Buddy and I choose a suite or bundle of products to feature in out monthly PDF Tutorial. This month we chose the Poinsettia Place Suite of products from the 2020 Aug-Dec Mini Catalog.

For my card today I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it in with the Stampin' Blends. It is a bit hard to see but the background vellum is flocked and is from the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper. The center of the flower is embellished with the Beaded Pearls.

I love to color but maybe that isn't your favorite, never fear no coloring necessary. These samples show stamping the same ink color on the cardstock and then cutting them out and layering them.

Here they cut and embossed using the coordinating Poinsettia Dies and the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.

The suite of products also features the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper. In this card they simply cut out one of the poinsettias from the designer paper and used it for their focal point of the card. So many options to make those special Christmas cards for your family and friends.
