Gnome for the Holidays Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up!®

Hello Stampers!

Who doesn't love Gnomes? When I travelled last year to Iceland they were everywhere and they are just such happy little characters. The Gnome for the Holidays Stamp Set (August – December 2020 Mini Catalogue) images are so cute!

Today's card has a "fancy fold" – follow the directions to make it yourself. 

Measurements:

Crumb Cake – Base (7” x 5 ½”)
Whisper White – Mat for DSP – 5 1/4" x 2"
                             - Mini Card – 3" x 3" – 2 pieces
                             - Gnome 3" x 2"
Misty Moonlight – Mini Card –  (6 ½” x 3 ¼ scored at 3 ¼”)
Real Red – Mat for stamped piece (outside) – 3 1/8" x 3 1/8"
Trimming the Town  Designer Series Paper – 5" x 2 1/4" (2 pieces)

Instructions:

1. Score the Crumb Cake base at 2 ¾” and fold to create the card base.
2. Glue the Designer Series Paper (5 ” x 2 ”) to the Whisper White mat and glue to front flap. Glue the second piece of DSP to the inside on the right side.
3. Fold the Misty Moonlight cardstock on the score line and glue to the inside of the card as shown. The card will open left to right.
4. Stamp the sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink on one of the Whisper White pieces and glue to the inside of the Misty Moonlight mini card.
5. Stamp the gnome on the 3" x 2" piece of cardstock in Memento ink. Stamp the house on the 3" x 3" piece of cardstock. Colour both images with Stampin' Blends.
6. Stamp the sentiment in Soft Suede ink on the bottom of the Whisper White below the tree house.
7. Fussy cut the gnome and pop up on the stamped piece to the right of the tree house.
8. Glue the decorated piece to the Real Red mat and glue both to the front of the mini card.
9. Add Shimmery Crystal Effects* to the lights and to the decoration on the gnome's hat. It will take time to dry.

Add subtle sparkle to your project with white and silver craft glitter flecks in this glossy lacquer. Small, thin tip makes it easy to outline stamped images or add detail. May cause smearing when applied directly to ink. Shimmery flecks display better on darker coloured paper.
