Canada Inks Up! Blog Hop with You're a Peach Suite Collection

Every Sunday my Border Buddy, Patsy Waggoner from the US, and I share a card using one of our exclusive sketches. I created a card using the You're a Peach Suite Collection in this post. Here's the sketch from that post with the card I created.

To achieve some dimension on the peaches I first stamped in Pale Papaya. I then used a Sponge Dauber to add some Mango Melody and Calypso Coral to the edges. When I was growing up in Ontario I loved peach season. We got "freestone" variety and the pit just came away from the fruit so easily.

I started to play around with the set and used different colour combinations to achieve the look of different fruits.

After the peach I made cherries, blueberries and finally plums. Which is your favourite? The colour palette's for each fruit are:

Peach – Pale Papaya, Mango Melody, Calypso Coral
Cherry – Poppy Parade, Real Red
Blueberry – Misty Moonlight, Pacific Point
Plums – Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Blackberry Bliss
