Sunday Sketch with Penguin Place Bundle

It’s Sunday Sketches, Alison Solven from Canada here today.

Each Sunday Patsy Waggoner (my border buddy from the US) and I take turns creating a card using one of our card sketches. I find that when I use a sketch it helps to get my creative juices flowing, especially if I’ve lost my stamping mojo. Sketches are a starting point so don’t feel like you have to copy it exactly.

I used Fresh Freesia as my card base. The Designer Series paper coordinates with so many great colours – Balmy Blue, Basic Black, Calypso Coral, Fresh Freesiz, Just Jade, Misty Moonlight and Soft Sea Foam.

I cut out the characters from the images in the paper too! So cute!

You can create a card exactly using the sketch layout or change it up a bit. You can also turn the sketch so if it is a vertical sketch you might want to turn it to be horizontal.
