Today I’m sharing a Sunday Sketch with the Sweets & Treats stamp set. I love this set because it can be used for so many occasions and holidays! It’s also a great set if you love colouring.
Each Sunday I share a card made with our exclusive Border Buddy Sunday Sketches. I find sketches help me start creating especially if I have a creative block. They are a place I can start and by picking some Designer Series Paper, some matching inks and cardstock I find my mojo!
Sunday sketch
You can interpret the sketch anyway you wish – it’s meant as a starting point for your creativity. Today I followed the sketch as laid out. It’s a classic layout you can use again and again.
If you like to colour this is the perfect stamp set for you! I used Stampin’ Blends but any of our colouring mediums (Stampin’ Write Markers, Water-colour Pencils, Inks with Waterbrushes) would work beautifully. The images are so easy to cut out with paper snips.
I love photopolymer images like those in the Sweets & Treats Stamp Set because I can easily line them up – like I did with the two cupcakes on the cake plate in my card today.
