Just in CASE - Jar of Love Best FishesFree PDF Instructions

Hello Stampers,

Patsy and I are having fun with our new weekly feature – Just in CASE. CASE stands for Copy and Share Everything in the world of stamping. We will be CASEing projects from the catalogues each week because they were created by the talented Concept Artists at Stampin' Up! and so make it easy to use this amazing samples as inspiration. We may copy them exactly, switch up the colours and/or stamp sets and accessories.

Today's card uses the layout and elements from the card on page 145 of the Annual Catalogue and the stamps from a project on page 75. Here's my inspiration for today's card.

I'm loving the new In Colors and today I'm using Peekaboo Peach along with Pool Party. I've been making lots of samples with the Jar of Love Photopolymer Stamps and matching Everyday Jars Framelits. I started by stamping the medium jar in Pool Party ink and adding the "water" in Soft Sky. I also stamped the jar top again and cut it out with the lid framelit. You will have to trim the bottom a bit. The gold fish is stamped in the Peekaboo Peach. Cut out the stamped images with the matching framelits.

I also included a strip of Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper, Gold Sequin Trim and Gold Metallic Thread (just like in the inspiration sample). The bubbles are from the Playful Backgrounds stamp set, a fabulous new set that is perfect for adding elements to your background. I thought it looked like the bubbles the Goldfish would make.

Isn't the little sentiment adorable? "Best Fishes" and is also from the Jar of Love Photopolymer Stamp Set.

Pop the Jar and Goldfish images up with Stampin' Dimensionals to create some depth and you are done.
TIP – I used the Thick Whisper White cardstock for my base as it's a single layer card and provides a sturdier card than our regular Whisper White cardstock.
