What is the Stampin’ Up! Hot Foil System?
The Stampin’ Hot Foil System works with the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (sold separately) to transfer beautiful metallic foil onto cardstock and other paper crafting materials using specially designed Hot Foil Dies.

Due to High Demand…
The excitement surrounding the new Hot Foil System has been incredible! Stampin’ Up! expects customer demand to be very strong and has already ordered additional inventory.
However, because the Hot Foil System has a much longer manufacturing and shipping timeline than most crafting products, if the machine sells out, it may not be available again until later this year.
The good news is that the coordinating Hot Foil Dies, Hot Foil Rolls and accessories are expected to be replenished much more quickly.
If the Hot Foil System is already on your wish list, I recommend placing your order early while inventory is available.
A Few Important Things to Know
- The Hot Foil System works with the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (sold separately).
- It does not work with the original Big Shot, CTMH or Cuttlebug die cutting matchines – the platforms on these machines are 6″ and 6.25″ is required
- Hot Foil Dies are designed for foiling only—they are not cutting dies.
- Standard cutting dies cannot be used for foiling.
- Hot Foil Dies cannot be used to die cut cardstock, as doing so may damage both the dies and the machine.
- The Stampin’ Hot Foil System has been designed and tested with Stampin’ Up! products and includes a one-year limited warranty when used as directed.
