Good Morning,
I was prepping for my upcoming Recipe Tin Class and was playing around with different designs for the project – here is the final version! I used Voila (Chef and words), Print Pattern, Alphadots and What’s for Dinner stamp sets (all copyright Stampin’ Up!). I’m pleased with the outcome except for the class project the lid will remain white for 2 reasons – it will give some contrast to the tin and the black paint is difficult to adhere and takes too long to dry for a class project. I’ll be making another black, red & white one soon and will post it when it’s done.
The word "Recipes" is stamped using the Alphadots alphabet set and then punched out with the 1/2" circle and mounted on red punched out with the new 3/4" punch. The word Bon Appetit (on the lid) is stamped using the new White Staz On Pad so it’s permanent.
The "inserts" were stamped using the "What’s for Dinner" set and I carried the Print Pattern theme (kinda looks like a tablecloth design which fit the theme) to the inside inserts. The recipe cards are from the same set – so cute!
Hope you enjoy the project…my class is on October 28th with one spot remaining. Check it out on my class schedule by clicking the link on this page. All pictures from this project are also in my Class Projects Photo Album.
Happy Stamping!
Alison
