Good Afternoon Stampers,
WOW…it is raining cats and dogs in Vancouver again today…what do you think it means to have cats and dogs raining down..LOL Where did that saying come from? We’ve had the wettest November on record following the driest Spring and the sunniest Summer…what’s up with this weather?
Rain gives me a great excuse to hide out in my studio and stamp all day..Yeah!
I’ve got a fun event on Sunday (shoebox stamping) that I’m prepping for and here are some of the cards we’ll be stamping. The first one uses the Espressoly for You set which I love. I also used the limited edition Designer Paper from the current Mini catalogue called Halloween Nights. I wanted to demo how this paper can be used with any set!
The second one uses the Sassy Stems and the Simple Shapes stamp sets with the Spotlight technique. This is such a simply elegant card. I also used the Crosshatch Background Stamp because my friend Eleonor always says that the card shouldn’t be "plain" ….I think she’s right!
Please check out my other classes by clicking on the link in the left column.
Happy weekend and to our veterans a heartfelt thank you for the freedom we enjoy living in a wonderful country like Canada. Lest we forget.
