As promised I’ve added some more samples to my Sell-A-Bration Photo Album and to a new Album called Swaps (for those that don’t fit the SAB theme). There are also a few new cards in the Winter Mini 2007 Album.
I wanted to highlight a scrapbook page done by Lisa Fedorak which shows the "kissing" technique she demoed at our downline meeting on Tuesday night. Lisa is the Mom of 5 year triplets and amazes me with her energy and inspires me with her creativity.
Lisa brayered the ink onto her "letters" and then stamped on a piece of bubble wrap which removed some of the ink and left the pattern on the stamp. So cute!
Here’s another sample using the Kissing technique by Lisa – she inked up a background stamp and then stamped the letters into the background stamp which left the background image on the letters. Sweet card!
This card was done using the Big Blossom set from Sell-A-Bration. First Lisa inked the flower using the Brayer – I couldn’t believe how much easier it is to get coverage on these big bold stamps just by using the brayer. It also keeps your pads from "fraying" because they aren’t being rubbed over the stamp. Then Lisa "removed" some of the ink by pressing a detailed stamp – in this case a paisley image from a new set demonstrators received as a Christmas gift from Stampin’ Up! (more about that later). Lisa cut the flower out leaving a nice white border which makes the image pop off the card. Adorable!
Please check out the other new cards from my downline in the Sell-A-Bration, Winter Mini 2007 and Swap Photo Albums.
Happy Stamping,
Alison
