Hello Stampers,
I had my downline meeting last night – we had a great time stamping & sharing. My team is called Canada Inks Up! and although there are over 150 of us from coast to coast our meeting had about 20 of us in attendance. It’s a tough time of year for folks to get out and with the wind storm bearing down on us last night followed by SNOW (yet again) many didn’t want to venture out. Those that did had fun! If you live in the Lower Mainland of Vancouver and you would like to attend a future meeting to learn about the Stampin’ Up! opportunity email me and I’ll give you the details.
First we stamped (of course) our make n’ take project which was a CASE from Splitcoast – I just love Happy Harmony and this card was stunning I thought. Plus it is so easy to make. Even thought it’s basically monochromatic it is simply elegant in my opinion. Here’s our version from last night.
Next we had our "business" part of the meeting and Pam Lee spoke about Sell-A-Bration. I spoke about "10 Things I Know for Sure" about my experiences with Stampin’ Up! and then we played a Sell-A-Bration Game.
Lastly we had a fabulous demonstration by Lisa Fedorak on the "kissing" technique. Lisa had some great "tips" and samples.
Pam & I had several display boards with samples and there was an opportunity to take pictures.
It’s always great to see everyone. We also had a great swap and I’ll be posting those cards soon in my blog and in my Photo Album. Stay tuned.
Happy Stamping,
Alison
Sounds like you guys had a great time last night! I wish I had a good upline and sidelines to help inspire and motivate me. I would love to come to your meetings but Kansas and Canada are a little too far away.

I LOVE the card you guys did! It’s so pretty – it’s going to have to be CASE’d. 🙂 TFS!!!
Sorry I missed it, Alison. Hopefully next time (famous last words.)

Alison, I wish that I was closer and could be there for your meetings… so glad you blogged about it though so that I could feel like I was “virtually” there! Love the card and now have it on my “to do” list for tomorrow night! Bev.
