Hello Stampers,
Just yesterday I was raving about my love for monochromatic cards and I stumble across a contest that requires you use only black and white (with a smidge of colour if you want) and I thought why not give it a try. Check out the contest details on Joan’s blog. Here’s my attempt at a black and white card. I used the Big Blossom Sell-A-Bration stamp (and to think I didn’t know what to do with this image when I first saw it!) kissed with the Floral Background. I added some additional elements in the centre with the Seeing Spots stamp set and the sentiment from Wonderful Words. I finished it off with a button and some gingham ribbon. To better define the flower I used the White Gel Pen around the petals. I love the Ticket Corner Punch so I HAD to use that and then finished it off with some black brads.
Hope my husband likes this card since it’s for his Valentines!
Happy Stamping!
Alison
This card is so simple, elegant and fabulous. Awesome Alison!
Nice card! That looks great! I am really enjoying this black and white theme. I did a scrap swap 6×6 and used the black, white, shades of gray and I it is growing, growing and growing on me. Monochromatic-definitely not boring.
