Good Morning Stampers,
I was reading about a company that sends a "class in a box" each month by mail – it comes with one stamp (unmounted (no foam, no wood) I believe) and supplies and instructions to make 6 cards. This is a great idea I thought and then I thought "wait a minute – isn’t that what the Simply Sent boxes are that Stampin’ Up! has been offering for 6 months?" … LOL…I just never thought of them as "Classes in a Box" but that’s exactly what they are.
You not only receive 4 stamps including the wood to mount them but all the supplies, ink and accessories to make 10 cards! The instructions are in the box too! All you need is scissors to complete the projects. The cost of the boxes range from $54.95 to $58.95 depending on the design you pick. Check out all six choices here. It’s nice to have a range of choices in the design. These can be shipped anywhere in Canada too. And…if you buy the Spring Fever Bundle offer from the Spring Mini Catalogue you can pick one of these Simply Sent kits for 50% off! This offer expires on March 31st.
I’ve also been hearing about a great new program discussed at this year’s Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference …you guessed it…classes in a box. This seems to be a new trend in stamping. It’s a great idea because you get everything you need delivered to your home, just open the box and start creating!
I’ll be introducing a program soon to my customers. Each month you receive a box of goodies in the mail (or pickup if you live locally) for a set price including instructions and all the materials to make a "set" number of cards. Then in each of the next 2 months (the program runs for 3 months) you receive additional materials to make more cards using the original stamp set (the one you got in month 1). I know several demonstrators in the US have been doing this for some time (not so new I guess…LOL) and several of my stamping friends are going to launch similar programs soon.
If you’d like to be on my mailing or email list and you live in Canada please contact me at alisonsolven@telus.net and I’ll add you to my newsletter list.
Happy Stamping!
Alison
