Hello Stampers,
My apologies for being away from my blog for so long but I’ve been really busy with my Stampin’ Up! business and I’ve also been battling my annual bout of asthma – so far the asthma is winning.
The artist in question from the title is my daughter, who is in an intensive program for Game Art & Design (everything you need to know to create video games), and she is in the final stretch for her next set of finals. Most students would put up a sign on their door that simple said "Do Not Disturb"….but not art students. Here’s Carly’s version…I got a real kick out the the artwork and wording…this is the difference between artists and the rest of us. LOL
My friend Bev, from Victoria, popped in to see me the other day and brought the best gift with her. Her Mom, Terry, had recreated sample sheets of animals and other items that could be made using our variety of punches. This was so thoughtful of her and so much work. I loved it! I do have a class coming up on June 2nd that will feature many of these creations.
Last, but not least, my friend Sue demoed a WOW at the recent Stampin’ Up! Regional conference in Vancouver called Frayed Ribbon. This was her card. Since I was feeling a little frayed this week I thought I’d give it a try – I loved it – it’s absolutely addicting! Sue did such a fabulous presentation that it was simple to recreate her card – I just used different colours. Here’s my take on Sue’s card.
Until next time…happy stamping!
Alison
The punched animals are TOO cute! Especially love the penguin and frog.
