My Other Passion…

Hello Stampers,

My other passion, besides stamping and scrapbooking, is gardening.  My favourite flowers are Peony and Sweet Peas.  I love the scent of both of these flowers and so have lots of them in my garden.  Here are some of my newest blooming friends…

Isn’t this gorgeous?  I love the different colours of this variety of peony but the texture of the centre is to die for….does anyone else think of their flowers as friends? LOL  I really look forward to them coming back each year.  Of course, in Southern British Columbia, just as the peony’s open the rain starts and beats them down.  But they are resiliant and still open to reveal their beauty!

Here’s another variety from my garden.  The little yellow center is so delicate…like little fingers.  Love it!

Yet another sample of my Peony’s.  I think there are at least 50 blooms on this one plant.  In total I think I have about 300 blooms in my garden with 7 different kinds of Peony’s. 

I’ll post the latter blooming varieties as soon as they open.  They are all keeping their blooms closed until the sun returns…smart little guys!

Here are 2 different types of Peonies growing together in one area.  They are such a friendly bunch of flowers. LOL
