Good Morning Stampers,
Sorry for the delay in posting but it’s been crazy with Open Houses, new catalogues and clubs the past 2 weeks that I haven’t had time for my blog…hope to be more consistant in the future.
My 5th Annual Open House/Rubber Garage Sale was a huge success – the prices were slashed and everyone picked up some great bargains. The sale opened at 7:00 pm – here are some eager beavers who arrived at 6:30…they confessed they’d been outside in their car since 6:10 pm…I LOVE enthusiastic stampers and these gals are so much fun!
My friend, Liane, & I had 45 people pop in for the sale – here was our make n’ take using the Garden Whimsey set (my favourite new set…okay one of my favourites!) It is a CASE of a card I saw on Beate Johns gallery on SCS – I changed the colours and added the Photo Corners and I used the paper piercer to punch the scalloped edges.
I love the double stitched ribbon available in all of the new In Colours. You can layer images using the 1 1/4" and 1 5/8" circle punches onto the scallop punch. The other colours are River Rock and Purely Pomegranate.
Here’s a card using the Purely Pomegranate, Blue Bayou and Sky Blue new In Colours and the Garden Whimsey set.
Here’s one last card using the new set – I love the new textured card stock that comes in all 4 colour families, the 2008 In Colours and the Neutrals. This one uses the Very Vanilla and Blue Bayou textured cardstock along with the new Purely Pomegranate double stitched ribbon and the new wide Gros Grain in vanilla.
The little snail in this set just makes me smile and I love the way the sentiment is in a spiral…adorable.
Happy Stamping!
Alison
