Stamp Crazy with Alison

Canada Inks Up!…again

August 2, 2007 by Alison Solven

Hello Stampers,

Last night was my regular meeting with my downline team (the group of SU! demonstrators who signed up directly with me or with someone else in my line) and we had lots of fun.  Here’s a picture of my desk as I was getting ready to share what I’d learned at Convention….100_5739 can you relate? LOL

We always start off with a make n’ take followed by a swap – the cards I received are fabulous – as soon as I get them scanned I’ll share them with you.

Next we have the business part of our meeting where Pam Lee, Kathryn Jung & I shared our Stamping Adventures in Denver.

100_5467 Then we played a game (we all love games that test our SU! and stamping knowledge) called "Are you Smarter Than a Demonstrator?" – based on the game show "Are you Smarter that a 5th Grader?".

Then it was time for demonstrations – Kathryn Jung and Ann Ross demonstrated the exploding photo box using the papers and die cut elements from the Simply Scrappin’ kits.

I demonstrated 10 things you can do with markers.  It was a great evening of fun and sharing!

Here’s some cards I received at Convention in my swaps…..more wonderful samples.   Unfortunately some stampers don’t put their names on the back of their swaps – the Garden Whimsey sample is by Judi Anderson.  The brown Baroque Motif card was by Lis Ljung.

Thanks to all the wonderful stampers who swap cards with each other at SU! events – I love sharing them with my customers.

Happy Stamping,

Alison
