Stamp Crazy with Alison

Fancy Folds…

October 3, 2007 by Alison Solven

Hello Stampers,

I’ve been stamping for years and have seen this "Hidden Message" card many many times.  When I went to my downline meeting in Victoria on the weekend, Alicia did a WOW demo of this type of card and made it look so easy I knew I had to make one and add it to my upcoming Fancy Folds class.

I love the Wanted set and use it a lot for all types of cards so thought it would work well for a Hidden Message card along with the Outlaw Designer Papers (which I LOVE).  The actual card for the class will use a different set.  There are a few spaces let if you live in the Vancouver area and want to come.

100_6074 This is the outside of the card.  I used the star punch along with the 1" circle punch to create the "reinforcement" pieces for the closure.  You just attach them with a brad and you can wrap some ribbon or hemp around them to hold the card closed.

100_60751 The inside of the card is difficult to photograph because it has a way of changing by opening it in different ways.  This is the first look.

100_6076 This is the other view of the inside.

100_60771 This is a view from the top of one of the ways the card opens….you’ve got to see this to believe it.  It’s very cool!

Happy Stamping,

Alison
