Stamp Crazy with Alison

My little stamper…

October 4, 2007 by Alison Solven

Hello Stampers,

One of my friends, Janice, sent me an email about a "man stamper" video that’s circulating on the web – it’s hilarious.  Here’s the link http://tinyurl.com/2hxy58  My husband always tells me "it’s all about the tools" – how true!

While we are on the subject of  "man stampers"  – a few weeks ago I posted about my son, Ian, who just turned 16.  I was looking for some Christmas pictures for a project and found these of him from about five years ago.  He was doing a project for school and needed some to create a heading so we used alphabet stamps.  Notice how he even knows how to clean the stamps before putting them away.  I also noticed that there is a container of chocolate ice cream close at hand…ahhhh true stamper! LOL

100_4359_2Every year when we are on cruise he always enthusiastically (okay that’s a bit of a stretch – but just a bit) participants in the "kids stamping project" which he immediately hands over to me for my display. LOL  He always says "I know how much it means to you Mom so I’ll go and stamp the project for you".  This year it was a little book with their initial from chipboard on the front – he used an "A" for Alison…LOL  He also is the one that drags (I mean accompanies) my husband to the partner share – just in case there’s a great gift.  Ian still uses the backpack we got on the Mexican Riviera cruise for school.

So, don’t believe what you read – real men can and DO stamp!

Happy Stamping!

Alison
