Good Morning,
My customers are so talented and two of my regulars brought me cards this past week.
The first one is by Sonya L and uses the set Artfully Asian and the Reverse Masking technique. I taught the technique at my last club meeting and Sonya applied it to this wonderful card (she’s so talented she most likely knew the technique before I showed her but she’s too kind to say anything!).
Sonya started with glossy cardstock and cut out an oval mask, placed it over the card and then stamped the leaf images with Versamark. She then brayed over the images with a Spectrum pad. She then removed the mask and stamped the leaf image again in Versamark and embossed it in gold. The saying is from the same set and is also gold embossed. This card is simply elegant and stunning in person. It’s not easy to mask this perfectly especially on glossy cardstock but Sonya has created a perfect oval focal point. Just gorgeous.
The second card is by Andrea S, using the Jumbo Spooky Skyline wheel and Home is Where the Haunt Is stamp set. When you open this little package you find some chocolate goodies. Yum. It came "wrapped" in this little organza bag – so adorable!
I love the way the skyline is behind the house which Andrea has embossed using black ep. The detail of adding the "fence" along the bottom on green cardstock finishes this treat bag off perfectly. Love it!
Happy Stamping,
Alison
