Stamp Crazy with Alison

CD Folder

January 26, 2008 by Alison Solven

26 Jan

Hello Stampers,

Well it’s snowing again in my little snow belt of the lower mainland…my son’s soccer game got called 25 minutes in because they couldn’t see the lines on the turf anymore.  Only in Vancouver can you ski at one of 3 local mountains, golf and play soccer in January. Strange but true!

A few months ago I designed a really cool CD folder for a Christmas Camp I had for customers and it was a big hit.  My sister then adapted it for a different theme that I will share once I’ve had the class.

100_61091 I used the Season of Joy stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalogue that I’m hoping will be re-released in the Fall-Winter Collection 2008 in August.

The project also uses the retired Wintergreen designer series papers.

100_61101 The inside has 3 tabs for journalling including one envelope with insert.    There is also the inside left hand side for a picture of your family or more stamped artwork.  The idea for this CD folder was to add a CD of your favourite Christmas music or pictures of your family for friends and family who are out-of-town.  It’s kinda like an album and CD gift all in one.  I LOVE the Define Your Life and Defining Alphabet stamp sets and had to incorporate them into this project.

I also thought that you could use this as a Yearly keepsake of pictures taken throughout a certain year – mark the year on the spine and then you’d have a nice momento (compact) for future reference.

Happy Stamping!

Alison

Hi Alison! I love this CD case. What did you use for the actual case?

    Thanks,
    Tanya 🙂 (from Bev’s downline!!!)
