Hello Stampers,
I’ve received some lovely cards from my friends these past few weeks and thought I’d share them with you in today’s post.
This first card is from Janice S, a lovely Valentine’s Day card using a retired set called Doodle That – or was it Doodle This..LOL I love the way Janice used the scallop punch to create the pattern and the way she anchored the "heart" image between the 2 flowers. How about the perfect scallop edges? Adorable.
This is so fresh and springy and there’s nothing like receiving a card "just because"…what a nice surprise in my mailbox today.
This card is by my friend Sonya L and was sent because of the passing of our dear dog Finnegan. This card is so just so elegant in it’s simplicity. Sonya has pieced together pieces of cardstock and edged each piece with colour to give definition to the "puzzle" The salutation is stamped on a piece of cardstock that has been dry embossed so the square has some added dimension. This is such an pretty card.
Lastly, I received a card from my friend Ruthie L who just moved to Smithers, a community up north in BC. This was one of my all time favourite sets, In Full Bloom, which is retired. Ruthie used the rectangle and square images to create a spotlight technique – very cool!
Thanks to all my stamping friends for these lovely cards!
Happy Stamping,
Alison
