Hello Stampers,
Here's part 2 of my "mini" swap with 10 of my downline.
This card is by Twyla Yu and is so pretty in real life – pictures never do these cards justice. You can't see it but Twyla actually cut out the little bird and glued him to the top of the shutter – I don't know how she cut this so precisely! Twyla also use the scallop punch to add some detail and the brads finish it off perfectly. This is a Level 3 Hostess set call Window Dressing – so cute.
Here's an awesome card by Rhonda Jackson – Rhonda used the Embrace Life set with the new In Colour paper and ink – Pink Pirouette. This is a Hidden Message card and is so fabulous – you can open it many different ways and it's kinda addicting playing with these cards. LOL So elegantly done – I think these cards work so beautiful with Asian types stamps and Embrace Life has the blossoms so it works really well. So beautiful!
Here's a lovely card by Sandi Lindsay – she always does such beautiful work. This is a new set called Wow Flowers and Sandi has used two of the new in colours – Kiwi Kiss and Riding Hood Red along with Pacific Point . Everything Sandi does is perfect – the cutting, the stamping, the whole picture. Isn't this gorgeous?
This card is so fresh and crisp and was submitted by Jennifer Milller, my demo in Vernon. This is so pretty and uses the Wow Flowers stamp set along with the Pacific Point and Kiwi Kiss ink and paper. Just a lovely fun card!
This card by Dayanna Donng is absolutely stunning. I actually gasped when I opened her envelope. Dayanna used the new Bella Rose paper along with the Bloomin' Beautiful stamp set from the Mini Catalogue which, YEAH, made it into the new catalogue. Dayanna stamped the flower on vellum and embossed with white embossing powder. She then coloured it with markers from the back creating a "stained glass" look. The edge of the vellum has been embellished with Dazzling Diamonds – I think Dayanna probably used 2 Way Glue to affix the glitter. She finished it off with the pink taffeta ribbon. This is such an elegant presentation. I love it!
Just like the group yesterday – I'm sure these artists would love to hear what you think in my comment box.
Happy Stamping!
Alison
Your cards are fantastic. I surprise myself when I get two colors of paper to look good together and my stamp is straight. I really enjoy your tutorials and your website. Thanks.
