Hello Stampers,
Being busy is a good thing right? When you're busy doing things you love then it's a good thing! As I mentioned in my earlier post there is lots going on at Stampin' Up! and now that I'm getting over my bronchitis I wanted to bring you up to date on what's happening in my business.
THE CATALOGUES ARE HERE! My catalogues arrived and are ready for pickup – as you can see they are flying out of here! If you've preordered one just let me know when you want to come by or if you'd like one mailed to you I can do that too! First day to order new products is Monday, August 11th at noon (MST). Remember you don't have to live in Vancouver to place an order – I can ship anywhere in Canada.
OPEN HOUSE & GARAGE SALE – Saturday, August 16th from 11 am – 2 pm (drop in anytime) – make n' takes, prizes, Open House only specials and my 6th Annual Garage Sale where they'll be lots of bargins to be had on retired stamp sets and accessories. Location – Burnaby Lake Sports Complex West, 3677 Kensington Avenue, Burnaby. You must RSVP if you wish to participate in the make n' takes.
OPPORTUNITY EVENT – Immediately following my Open House at 2:30 pm I will give a presentation of what's involved in becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator – I'll be able to answer any questions you might have about the many ways you can become involved. There is a super promotion on right now and you can join for $119 from August 11 – October 11. I'd love to tell you more about the opportunity and how it's changed my life. Location – same as Open House – Burnaby Lake Sports Complex West.
You don't have to live in Vancouver to join my team – I support many demonstrators across the country and two of my out-of-towners have earned cruises in the past – with the internet and phone the world is a smaller place!
CONVENTION – Convention was a blast – I went with my sisters from Toronto and for Mo & I it was another great experience (we've been to about 7 so far I think) but it was very special to see it through the eyes of a newbie – my other sister Ellie who signed up in the Spring. She came back so excited to get going with her business now that she's retired from a teaching career of 33 years. I think she's going to be a dynamo!
ON THE ROAD AGAIN – I just got home on Sunday and on Tuesday I received a lovely invitation inviting me back to Salt Lake City in October, along with other leaders from Stampin' Up! in Canada and the US, to to attend a Leadership Summit. I was very honoured to have been asked to participate as there are probably less than 20 demonstrator in all of Canada that would have qualified. So I'm busily making plans with my dear friend, Kristina Koch from Langley to go together and share a room. I think we'd make a good E-Harmony match. LOL I can't believe I've been with Stampin' Up! for over 6 1/2 years now – time flies as they say and I'm excited that I've built my business to this level. I have a great team of demonstrators from all across Canada and we continually learn and grow together!
I hope to see you at my Open House and/or Opportunity Event on August 16th!
Happy Stamping,
Alison
Alison, congratulations on your invite to the Leadership Summit! That’s a fantastic accomplishment and I hope you really enjoy your time there!
Guess I’ll see you in Utah! I plan to attend that event too, since they included the Ad. Bd. ! 🙂 Patty
