Hello Stampers,
I have my first Big Shot Club tonight and we are going to be using the Top Note Bigz Die, exclusive to Stampin' Up!
The first project is a little book using the Big Shot and the Zutter Bind-it-All machine. If you haven't checked out this amazing book binding machine you can at this link. If you'd like a machine and you live in the Lower Mainland of Vancouver contact me for a great price on the machine and O-wires.
I first saw the idea on my friend Patty Bennett's site and she gives credit to another demo in her post.
I cut the "A" for Alison (of course) using the Serif Essentials Alphabet – an awesome alphabet for cards or scrapbooking. The book covers and the "A" were cut from chipboard which is now available from Stampin' Up! – you get 6 On Board Longboards (say that 3 times I dare you) for $8.25. The chipboard measures 5 3/4 x 13 3/4" each so you need one board for the covers and 4 letters.
The little flower is from Flower Fusion Too set – the colours are some of my favourites – Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip.
I covered the "A" with Chocolate Chip Craft Ink and then embossed it with clear embossing powder.
The paper is from the new Designer Series papers – Parisian Summer – so elegant and beautiful!
This card uses the "negative image" from the die cut – I learned this from my bestest friend, Sue Farrant. Check out the card she made with this idea on her blog – to die for! And some of my customers would die if they had to cut out all those flowers. LOL
Lastley we have candy! I wrapped the Hersey Nuggets with designer paper and the topper is the Top Note Die Cut. Fast, fun and so yummy!
It's not too late to join us at one of our next three classes. Contact me for more information.
Happy Stamping,
Alison
Oh Alison, your projects are to die for. Get it “to die for”. I know big shot humour. Anyways, I’ve tagged you because you have been a great inspiration to me and have supported me in many ways. Thanks for being there. Check out my blog for rules.
