Carte Postale – Stamps in the Mail

September 19, 2008 by Alison Solven

19 Sep

Good Morning,

September is the last month of my Summer Semester in my Stamps in the Mail University program.  We'll be starting the Winter Fun (or Fall Frenzy LOL) semester in October and it will run through to December.

The choices for the next semester stamp sets are either Season of Joy or Upsy Daisy – both fabulous and versatile sets!  Check out my Stamps in the Mail program here and the Winter Fun semester information here.

Here's the last month of the Carte Postale SIM program samples…(members receive all the products they need to complete these cards – 4 per month – including the stamp set, inks, paper and embelllishments.  They sit down, open their box, take out the full-colour step by step instructions and start stamping!)

This card uses the Parisian Summer Designer Paper which coordinates perfectly with the Pink Pirouette and Chocolate Chip card stock.

I've used the Parisian Summer cardstock again on the bottom of this card and the coordinating ink colour of So Saffron.  The little flower ribbon slide is from the Styled Silver Hodgepodge kit.

I CASED the ribbon element from another card and love the way it extends over the side of the card to draw your eye outwards – the ribbon is so beautiful that it stays in place without being too stiff looking.

Card 3 uses the Baja Breeze Designer Patterns paper along with the Pacific Point and Baja Breeze cardstock and inks.

The "label" element is also from the Styled Silver Hodgepodge kit and the ribbon is the new Pacific Point gros grain which, of course, matches perfectly to the paper and ink of the same name!

There is one more card in this month's group but I've got to leave one card as a surprise for my members – can't spoil it entirely for them!

Happy Stamping!

Alison
