Stamp Crazy with Alison

Mail Days…..

August 27, 2009 by Alison Solven

Hello Stampers,

I love getting cards from my friends, customers and downline.  I have been fortunate in the past few weeks to receive some really lovely cards and wanted to share them with you too!

August2009 015-1

This first card is from my customer/friend, Janice Spry for my birthday last month.  I LOVE the colours on this card – so fresh and fun and catch the perfect matching of the scallop edges.  The little window is made with the Movers & Shapers Bigz XL die with the Curly Label insert.  Janice then made a little door with the piece the was punched out and cover the image with acetate.

Isn't this fun?

This stunning card was given to me by my friend and recent hostess, Sonya Lore, as a thank you for coming to her stamping workshop.  Can you imagine….she's thanking me! LOL  I had such a fun afternoon with the "gang".

The middle flower is paper-toled and popped up for dimension.  The ribbon is ruffled by gathering the threads and the addition of the little buttons in the corner add balance and fun!  This card is breathtaking in person!

August2009 011-1

This next card was a thank you from a dear friend/downline.  Karen Bernoe's cards are always some of my favourites and she always adds some DP – love the colours in this card and the sentiment "You make my life a beautiful thing" is mutual!

August2009 012-1

This card is so fun and fresh and arrived today from my newest downline, Colleen Vassos who lives in Saskatoon (welcome Colleen!) I love polka dots and the details on this card are so beautiful – can you see the scallop edge and the paper piercing – just a beautiful fresh feeling card.  Plus I also got a coffee card too – wish Colleen could join me for a cup!

If you haven't sent a card lately please pick a friend and send one today – it really does brighten the day for the recipient!

Happy Stamping,

Alison
