It’s Saturday already again and time for another Border Buddies. OMG it is May already and this year is going so fast. Just not enough time to share everything I am excited to share with you.
Today’s hand stamped card features the Papillion Potpourri stamp set.
The assortment of six different butterflies and coordinating punches make each card a “One-of-kind”. Which is your favorite butterfly in the stamps set? It seems I gravitate to the ones I used in today’s card.
Some fun facts about Butterflies.
- Butterflies come in all different sizes from tiny 1/8 inch to large almost 12 inches.
- I thought this was particularly interesting they can see red, green, and yellow (so plant some red and yellow flowers for them to see!)
- The fastest butterfly can go 12 miles per hour.
- Monarch butterflies travel from the Great Lakes to the Gulf of Mexico (almost 2,000 miles and return North again in the spring)!
I stamped the larger butterfly in Island Indigo Classic Ink and punched it out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch. The little butterfly is stamped on Island Indigo with Island Indigo Ink and punched out with Bitty Butterfly Punch. I tied a little Whisper White Bakers Twine around the butterfly and added a Calypso Coral Candy Dot.
