Hello Stampers,
I wanted to share this cute card today…
but first a short word from our sponsor…
If you're like me the interruption of a good drama or game by commercials is annoying. But sometimes you actually get one that helps you in some way or makes you laugh. Today I will be bringing a "commercial" to you that I know will help you big time but I promise I won't take up too much of your time. But I will ask you to take a test drive…and I do share a cute card at the end.
I have been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for over 13 years. During that time I've met some amazing people from around the world including stampers who have attended classes in my home while on vacation from Germany and Australia. Here are some pics of those times.
Leanne Frochter and Sharon Griffiths, sisters from Perth, Australia, follow me online and when they were on holiday in Vancouver two years ago they came to my club as guests. We had so much fun and discovered that stampers are the same kinds of people no matter where they are from in the world.
My team is a wonderful group of over 125 papercrafters from coast to coast who occasionally get to meet up in person and when we do it's all out crazy fun! Here is a small group of us at Stampin' Up!'s Convention in Salt Lake City a few years ago.
Now is a wonderful time to take Stampin' Up! for a "test drive" because you will get an amazing starter kit full of products of your choice at a huge discount! When you purchase your starter kit you are a member of my Canada Inks Up! team. My team is Canada-wide and connects through social media, private blogs and Facebook groups and in person!
So here's what you need to know to get started:
- pick $195 worth of products from any of our current catalogues. Pay $125 – NO shipping or taxes!
- start receiving a 20% discount on all your future purchases!
- Receive access to a PDF with 52 (one for every week!) gorgeous cards and full instructions including measurements and supply list Click Here to see an example of one of the cards) – this offer is exclusive to my personal team members!
- connect to my community of amazing crafters on our private social media groups!
- receive training (if you want to have a small business) and/or crafting tips exclusive to my team!
- no obligation beyond the purchase of your kit – keep you kit and enjoy the goodies or keep going and stay a member of my community for as long as you'd like!
And in case you missed this option….if you place an order that earns you hostess benefits you can apply those rewards towards the purchase of your starter kit! You get the same Stampin' Reward value PLUS you become a member of my team. So how does this work?
It's easy…when your order reaches $200 or more you earn free Stampin' Rewards. During Sale-a-bration you earn an additional $35 when your workshop or order reaches $330! When you go to redeem your rewards you can click the box that asks if you'd like to redeem all or part of your rewards towards the purchase of a starter kit.
NOW imagine….if your rewards were $125 as an example and you applied it to the price of your starter kit you wouldn't pay for it and you would still receive $195 worth of product for your kit! That's $70 MORE than if you'd used them on the Stampin' Reward side. You still get all your freebies plus another 56% in product! And it doesn't cost you anything!

And now….back to our regularly scheduled programming with this cute card using the soon to be retired set Sky is the Limit. This set has been so popular probably because it is a great masculine set. It's free with any $60 purchase but only until February 15th so hurry if you want this one for your collection.
I used the notecards (#131527) which are 5" x 3 1/2" and come in a package of 20 cards with matching envelopes. Perfect as a little gift card. I cut a piece of cardstock vellum 5 1/4" x 3 1/2" and trimmed the edge using our rotary cutter and the scallop blade. Then I used a scallop circle punch to create a little stencil to create the clouds with a sponge and Pool Party ink. Then just stamped the vellum and stamped and punched out the plane and popped it up on top!
Here's a close up of the plane and the propeller. I used the Festive Flower punch and some vellum to create it. Added a Candy Dot to finish it off.
Here's all the products I used in today's card.
Love it and love being a part of your team!! I highly recommend it!!!!
Awe Thanks Arlene. I love having you as part of our Canada Inks Up! Community.
