It's time for another Just in CASE post. Every Thursday (Patsy & I) post a card that has either been inspired by a card in the current catalogue or is a direct copy. We might switch up the colours, stamps or accessories.
Today's card is featured on page 50 of the Annual Catalogue and I choose to CASE the layout but switch out the stamp set. When you think you've lost your stamping mojo try copying a card from the catalogue and a card will come together really quickly for you! And since you are starting with one of the gorgeous samples in our catalogues designed by our talented concept artists it's even easier!
Here is the original design which featured the Strength & Prayers stamp set.
I started with a Whisper White card base and layered the weathered board paper from Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper stack cut to completely cover the card front just like in the sample. I stamped the flower spray in Smoky Slate and coloured the flowers with Pool Party and Island Indigo with the Aqua Painters. The leaves were coloured with Pear Pizzazz.
Just like in the original card I used the Delicate White Doilies, some washi tape, Classy Designer Buttons and White Baker's Twine to finish it off.
I also added some Enamel Shapes to finish it off. The sentiment is from Bunch of Blossoms. I love the font of the words in this set.

After I stamped the flower spray I stamped the ink splats with Pool Party but I stamped the first inking off on a scrap so it was a more subtle look.
Once it's all assembled I popped up the image with Stampin' Dimensionals.
