There's something about trains and Christmas that just go together. This beautiful easel card was created by my sister, Mo Dickie, a demonstrator in Toronto. I love how she used the Seaside Embossing folder to create the look of the train chugging through the snow.
Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush was added to the raised pieces to give the snow some glimmer. The vintage look of the train is so nostalgic as are the other pieces in the Christmas Magic stamp set.
Here are some fun projects made with the set by our concept artists at the home office of Stampin' Up!
Love this chubby little snowman. When you add a highlight around objects with gray or light blue ink you anchor the image and give it depth. The snowman has the gray ink around the inside of the snowballs and the lamp post has the gray shadow around the outside. Just use an Aqua Painter and ink.
This is an adorable simple card and one you could easily duplicate in masses for your Christmas card this year!
I love this card – the easel lies flat for mailing.
