Just in Case - Mediterranean Moments - Stamp Crazy with Alison

It's Thursday and that means Just in Case weekly blog post. I take a card from one of our current catalogues and either copy it exactly or change up the stamps or colours and make it my own. I find CASEing helps me if I'm in a creative funk.

CASE = Copy and Share Everything.

Today I used the stamp set Mediterranean Moments and CASED the card on page 28 of the Occasions Catalogue.

I changed the size of the card to a regular A2 and added another small Pool Party mat behind the embossed brick piece. Would you like to make this card? I coloured with the Watercolor Pencils and an Aqua Painter. I find that if I add a strong scribble of pencil on a piece of scrap watercolour paper and then add water to dilute it's easier for me to control the colour.

I used the same saying as the sample in the catalogue but instead of embossing in white on a piece of vellum I just used Basic Black archival ink on a strip of Whisper White.

This stamp set was designed by Susan Nygaard and the concept artists at Stampin' Up! in celebration of her One Million Sales Milestone. In May last year my husband and I enjoyed 7 days away on a Mediterranean cruise from Stampin' Up! We visited Italy, France and Spain and this set brings back such wonderful memories of that amazing trip.
