Hello Stampers!
I'm starting a brand new feature on my blog called Card Swap Sunday. Can you guess what it will be about? Just kidding…Every Sunday I will share a card from a Swap. It might be one I made for the swap or it may be one I received in a swap. Today's card is one I made for a swap I'm in with some demonstrator friends. The "theme" was Spring/Easter which is ironic since it's snowing in Vancouver again today! Usually our "snow" at this time of year is created by all the cherry blossoms blowing in the air.
I love the Weather Together Stamp Set and the matching Umbrella Framelits Dies because they reminded me of Vancouver where we do get our share of rain. The funny thing about Vancouver is that the locals rarely use umbrellas.
The umbrella is die cut using the dies and the Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper. I love black and white colour combos and the splash of Melon Mambo is perfect and sort of "Parisian" looking. Don't you agree?
- 12 sheets; 2 each of 5 double-sided designs; 1 each of 2 single-side designs with foil
- 12" x 12"
- acid free, lignin free
- Basic Black, Gold, Melon Mambo, Whisper White
The Stitched Shapes Framelits add a touch of texture to the simple circle and the matching Layering Circles Framelits allow the scallop mat to "pop" the focal image. I love how Stampin' Up! products all coordinate including the ribbon, cardstock and ink which are all Melon Mambo!

Very cute card and great for Spring.
We had 3 inches of snow this morning. I guess Winter is not over yet here. I am so ready for spring.
Thanks Lora! I agree, snow in Vancouver today too. Stay warm!
