It's time for our Colour Your World blog hop where Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world share their projects using this month's colour palette. We then invite you to share your creations using the same palette on our Facebook Group! Please Join Us!
Here is this month's palette – isn't it bright and fresh?!
I try and use as many of the colours as I can in my cards but it's not a requirement to use them all each month. I managed to use every colour this month except Tangerine Tango. My card today uses the brand new Ronald McDonald stamp set called Sharing Sweet Thoughts. Stampin' Up! donates $3 to Ronald McDonald House for every stamp set sold.
I love how the set coordinates with the Everyday Jar Framelits dies so no fussy cutting!
I love the little ladybug stamp – so cute. This is such a cute set and so summery.
Here are some more projects made by the concept artists at Stampin' Up!. There are those ladybugs on the branch in the jar.
I stamped the lid in Basic Black on the Pear Pizzazz cardstock and cut out with the matching framelit. The jar was also cut out easily with the matching framelit. The So Saffron card base was embossed using the new Pinewood Planks folder. It beautiful and creates a deep dimensional embossed impression. I wanted to keep the "wood" feel so used a piece of patterned paper from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack. I watercolored the images with inks and Aqua Painters (strawberries) and Blender Pens (butterflies).
